Meet Emeli: Making Waves In The Safety Around Water Program

Meet Emeli! She is 10 years old, and this summer she learned how to swim. She was eager to learn right from the start and always looked forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays for SAW. With the help of the instructors, she quickly progressed. By the end of the summer, she was comfortable in the water and could safely swim from one end of the pool to the other. Her favorite thing was learning how to backstroke. I asked her if she had anything she wanted to share with the swim instructors: “Thank you, I'm excited for next summer so I can learn more cool things”.
