2021 Basketball

Our youth basketball league has no tryouts and everyone is welcome. Thanks to the Y’s sports, philosophy and basketball rules, kids participate in every game and receive equal playing time, regardless of skill level. 

Youth Basketball at the Y develops fundamental basketball skills, teaches teamwork and promotes physical activity in a team environment. This indoor basketball league is open to kids from grades Pre K-5th Grade.

WINTER BASKETBALL LEAGUE 

Grade Divisions -*grade is determined by 2020-2021 school year

Pre-K , K, 1st, 2nd , 3rd, 4th, 5th

Middle School (6th-8th Grade)

Price:

$25 FOR MEMBERS

$65 FOR NON MEMBERS

Season Begins: January 16th 

Regular Registration: now- until team is full 

Coaches Only Meeting:TBA

Practices Begin -TBD by coach assigned 

Basketball practices are either held at the branch and/or an off-site campus. One weeknight practice per week determined by the availability of the volunteer head coach and the YMCA. Date and Times to be announced.

Game Locations: Park South Family YMCA and offsite locations. 

Jersey Included 

Game Day:  Games will be played Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. Times are subject to change based on registration and other YMCA's activities.

BASKETBALL SKILLS CLINICS

Basketball Skills and Fundamentals One on One or Group Training
Emphasizing strong fundamentals , training sessions are designed to ensure your child is consistently able to progress in a safe and healthy environment. Sessions will focus on the individual's need to include any or all of the following basketball skill work.
