The Moody Family YMCA in the Park Cities hosted a Sneak Peek Event on August 28^th at the new facility. The event was attended by volunteers, community leaders, board members, donors, and staff. Jane Rejebian had the pleasure of unlocking the Y in honor of her father Hodges Hall, the founder of the Park Cities YMCA. Gordon Echtenkamp, President and CEO of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, took some time to thank community leaders and celebrate the hard work of volunteers in their efforts to provide a place to serve its community for generations to come. Echtenkamp also presented the Moody Foundation with a bronze statue of Y-kids. YMCA staff provided tours of the new facility and the new Rise School to conclude the event. The Rise School starts school September 12^th and the new Moody Family YMCA will open September 19^th.
