Fall Swim Lessons Are Available At 7 YMCAs:

Here are some videos of what your child can learn at the Y this fall!

If children possess even the most basic swimming skills, their risk of drowning decreases substantially. The 1st basic skill your child will learn at the Y is SUBMERGE.

Learning basic swim skills builds a sense of accomplishment in children and helps prevent drownings. The 2nd basic skill your child will learn at the Y is SWIM, FLOAT, SWIM.

Did you know: A large percentage of children drown within 6–10 feet of safety? The 3rd basic skill your child will learn at the Y is JUMP, PUSH, TURN, GRAB.

After learning the other basic swim skills, we encourage all swimmers to GO FOR GREEN in our safety series! The self-confidence is magical, as kids receive their green band for swimming the length of our pool. Create new memories for you and your family today!
