Moorland Family YMCA
- What We Offer
- Give to the Y
Every summer we offer new experiences and create day camp activities for hundreds of youth. From traditional summer camps that encourage kids to explore new adventures, to preschool camps where campers participate in themed weeks and hands-on learning, we provide kids and youth with opportunity to learn, thrive, grow and of course have fun!
Two healthy snacks and lunch is provided as an option for our families at no additional cost. Please refer to our weekly menus for what is available daily. In collaboration both with USDA and local non-profits qualifying summer camps receive a free breakfast and/or lunch. Summer meals are provided as an enhancement of camp not a part of camp. If you choose to bring your own lunch or snack please note that we do not allow any foods that contain or that are processed in plants with tree or peanuts at any of our camp sites.
Our Outdoor Day Camps provide youth with activities that allow them to experience a variety of different adventures, teach core values, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Participants attend weekly field-trips and camps includes weekly swim time.
This camp is perfect for kids that love the great outdoors. Campers spend at least 90% of the day engaging in outdoor activities.

Through different weekly themes, teens are inspired and empowered as they experience traditional camp as they swim, work in teams, play fun games and make new friends.
Teens will also have the opportunity to learn and grow by participating in:
• Interactive field trips
• Listening to professional speakers
• Participating in educational components such as robotics and arts
• Planning and volunteering with various service projects
Our goal is for teens to learn to work together, learn new skills, gain better decision making and conflict resolution skills, while discovering something new about themselves.
For teens ages 12 (with completion of 6th grade) to 15 years of age. Ask your location for ages 16-17.
