YMCA Texas Model United Nations is a youth development program in which 8-12 grade students simulate the United Nations as member states who meet to to solve pressing global problems with the art of compromise and diplomacy.  Join us and change your world.

The Texas Model UN Assembly is a three day, two night conference that creates a working replica of the United Nations, conducted almost entirely by students. Delegates can participate in a model General Assembly, Economic and Social Council, Security Council, Media Corps and more.

Originally piloted under the umbrella of Texas Youth and Government in 2010, Model United Nations launched its own conference in 2015, hosted by the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas and welcomed delegates from YMCA MUN clubs from around the state. This conference, and Regional MUN Summits, allow young global leaders the opportunity to not only meet others with similar interests, but to also develop their leadership ability, hone their speaking prowess, train critical thinking and conflict resolution skills, while becoming better people in which to lead us all.
