Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program

For Age 15 Only | 2 Sessions: 6/2–6/14, 7/7–7/19 | $750

Are you ready to take the next step in becoming a future camp leader? The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program is a two-week experience designed to develop leadership, teamwork, and responsibility skills, preparing participants for potential roles as camp counselors. This hands-on training program is perfect for teens ready to make a difference and grow as leaders!

Program Details

  • Week 1: Day Camp (Monday–Friday) with bus transportation available.
  • Week 2: Jamboree (Sunday–Saturday), an overnight camp experience.
  • Locations: CCAC, McKinney, Frisco, and Plano YMCA branches.

Bus Transportation
Bus transportation is available for the first week of the CIT Program from the McKinney, Plano, and Frisco YMCA branches.

  • Daily Bus Check-in: 7:00 AM–7:30 AM.
  • Departure: Promptly at 7:30 AM.
  • Arrival at Camp: 8:30 AM, just in time to start the day’s activities.
