Did you know the YMCA is a nonprofit? We are! The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social services organization dedicated to making our programs accessible for all. Therefore, financial assistance is available for almost every program we offer, and each year, donors, partner organizations, foundations, and volunteers give their time and financial support to help make this important work possible.

Annual Campaign
The YMCA Annual Campaign brings the community, businesses, foundations, Y volunteers and staff together to fundraise nearly $5M annually in order to provide free outreach programming and financial assistance to those in need through for programs like:
- Safety Around Water Drowning Prevention
- Healthy Lifestyles Programs
- Childcare, Sports, Swim, Camp, Gym Membership, and more
- Mental Wellness Initiatives
- Food and Essentials Distribution

The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas created a separate endowment fund (the Foundation) to support the mission of the Dallas YMCA. Whether you put your donation to work today by creating a named endowment fund or benefit the organization after your lifetime, you can find a charitable plan that lets you provide for your family and support the YMCA branch or program of your choice. Other Giving Opportunities
Matching gifts: An employer match is an easy way to increase the impact of your gift.
Donate stock: Individuals, corporations, and foundations can donate appreciated stocks, bonds, and mutual fund shares that have been owned for more than one year. Donors can avoid capital gains tax and also receive an income tax deduction for the fair market value of the gift.
