YMCA Disease Prevention Programs
The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas Community Health Department provides evidence-based programming for our community's health and well-being. Programs and activities promote wellness, reduce risk for disease and help others reclaim their health. These programs and everything else the Y does are in service of making us—our Ys and our communities—better. The result is a community that values health and supports healthy choices.
Our healthy lifestyles and chronic disease prevention and management programs can be held at job sites, recreation centers, hospitals, churches, local YMCA branches or anywhere else a need exists in the communities we serve. New classes are offered based on interest so please contact us to find out about classes starting near you. We serve Dallas, Collin, Rockwall, Southern Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, and Cooke counties.
