"My favorite tradition is Green Trees and Taps. It’s the end of the night and everyone stands in a huge circle and we sing Green Trees and Taps after the flag has been taken down. I have been doing this since I was 8, and you get to stand there at the end of the day with one huge family and see each other and look across from each other. "My favorite things about camp is getting to know a lot of people and getting to know some awesome counselors. There are always new people coming every year and getting to do new activities that you don’t really get to do at home. "The reason that Camp Corral is so awesome is because the people here are so nice, and the food is really good. But mainly it’s the people, they listen to you and don't go off blabbering about themselves. They are just good people. My personal favorite thing to do at camp is theater and I like how we do a talent show and work with the theater groups. Camp Corral, a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt, non-profit corporation, is a free, one-of-a-kind summer camp for children of wounded, injured, ill or fallen military service members.  Since its founding, in 2011 as a one camp pilot program, Camp Corral has grown over 750%.
