Jessica Hill Recognized as Shelley Cecil Award Winner

Jessica Hill was awarded the Shelley Cecil Award at the annual all-staff meeting at the Moody Family YMCA. She was recognized for her hard work and great attitude in Childwatch, as well as her increasing leadership.

Jessica has been a part of the Moody Family YMCA Childwatch Attendants team since February 2017. She brings with her 3 years of experience working with the Dallas Independent School District where she performed Instructional Aid duties. She attends Mountain View College, working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Business. She has proven to be a team leader and always provides professional childcare. Jessica has recently been promoted to one of our YMCA Lead Childwatch Attendants. She has also received the following awards:

  • Readers are Leaders Award
  • New Beginnings Preparatory Academy’s Perfect Attendance Award
  • NAACP Award
  • President’s Education Outstanding Academic Award

The Shelley Cecil Award is named after a Member Services Representative at the Moody Family YMCA that passed away in 2017. Shelley was a fun, kind, and loving person that truly embodied the YMCA's Core Values: Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility. Jessica has been recognized as a staff member following in Shelley's footsteps, truly caring about everyone she comes into contact with.
