RECIPE: WATERMELON, FETA, AND BASIL SALAD

Watermelon

This recipe is the perfect short and sweet meal to create this Memorial Day weekend!

Ingredients for 1 serving:

  • 1 cup watermelon cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons feta crumbled
  • 1 - 2 big basil leaves chopped up

Directions:

1) Chop up the watermelon or buy precut watermelon - remember buying the whole watermelon is always going to cost less, about 50% less!

2) Add 1 cup watermelon to a bowl 

3) Add 2 tablespoons feta cheese on top of the watermelon

4) Cut up the basil on top of the watermelon and basil and mix around

5) Note: If you can't eat dairy you could swap out the dairy for lime juice to add flavor! You could also add the lime with the watermelon and feta for some extra zing!

6) Enjoy!
