Maintaining a healthy diet becomes increasingly crucial for our overall well-being as we age. However, it's no secret that grocery bills can quickly add up, putting a strain on our budgets. The good news is that eating nutritiously doesn't have to be expensive.
As we age, we experience various physical and mental changes that can impact our overall well-being. While exercise is often recommended for maintaining physical health, it also has a powerful impact on mental health, particularly in older adults.
As we age, staying motivated to exercise can become increasingly challenging. Physical changes, busy schedules, and other life circumstances can make it difficult to prioritize fitness.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas Community Health Department provides evidence-based programming for our community's health and well-being. Programs and activities promote wellness, reduction of disease risk, and helps others reclaim their health. Programs include the Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program, YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program, YMCA Weight Loss Program, Kamp K'aana, FIT For Health, Get Up and Go, and Virtual Y. www.ymcadallas.org/communityhealth.
