Mavs Foundation, Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell to Unveil Renovated Basketball Court at Waxahachie YMCA

 

September 24, 2019 (DALLAS, TX)- In partnership with Sprite/Coca-Cola, The Mavs Foundation, the 501(c)(3) private foundation arm of the Dallas Mavericks, is proud to announce the unveiling of its newest basketball court at the Waxahachie YMCA. Dallas Mavericks Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell will be in attendance to break in the new court, which includes a new court surface, new walking track, Mavs Blue paint and other cosmetic upgrades. This marks the 26th renovation for the Mavs Foundation over the past 23 years.

 

Official Court Dedication remarks will be made by Dallas Mavericks Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell and representatives from the YMCA and the Mavs Foundation, followed by a group photo on the court, the official net cutting and inaugural free throws with sponsors/partners. Following the unveil, Mavs Basketball Academy coaches, along with Kleber and Powell, will host a 30-minute mini-basketball clinic for 100 kids from YMCA Programming.
