The Semones Family YMCA is a thriving community center located just east of the intersection of Northaven Rd. and Midway Rd.. From 1958-1963 the Semones YMCA (then the Town North YMCA) operated out of an old “ice house,” located at Hillcrest and Forest. Since opening at the current facility, at 4332 Northaven Road the Semones Family YMCA has undergone numerous expansion projects. The growth is a reflection of both community support and the Y’s ability to respond to the needs of its members and neighbors.
The Semones YMCA is considered a cornerstone in the community, due to the wonderful people, beautiful facility and quality programs. The Semones Family YMCA has been blessed with leaders, both staff and volunteer, whose insight and vision keeps the Mission central to all that we do.
