PRESCHOOL AT THE PARK SOUTH FAMILY YMCA
Through Y Preschool, children embark on a voyage of learning with a curriculum that addresses the whole child's development. YMCA Preschool emphasizes a hands-on learning curriculum in an environment where preschoolers can learn, gain self-confidence, make new friends, and respect others.
We base our educational and guidance decisions for children on our knowledge of child development. Our number one goal is to provide the kind of environment and influence that encourages all children to become creative, independent, and responsible students who can make positive choices for themselves.
Preschoolers explore a wide range of enriching activities, including:
- Arts and crafts
- Science experiments
- Math and counting
- Story time
- Pre-phonics and letter recognition
- Social-emotional learning and character building
- Colors, shapes, calendars, weather, and seasons
Morning and afternoon Snacks and Lunch are provided, and swim lessons are included to the preschool experience!
AGES: 2-5, Potty Trained
HOURS: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

Financial Assistance
At the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, we strongly feel that income should not be a barrier to joining the Y or participating in our programs. Anyone can apply to receive financial support. Eligibility for financial support and the amount of financial support that can be given is determined on a case-by-case basis.
