THREE TIPS FOR GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

Group Ex

Did you know your Y membership includes access to all our Group Ex classes? Group classes are the perfect way to stay fit while having fun! Here are our 3 tips you should know going into a group ex class: 

  1. Plan Ahead 

    • Early bird or night owl, our group ex classes range from 5:30 in the morning to 8:00 at night. Classes are offered seven days a week, but make sure you check your local Y’s schedule to plan out your classes for the week! You can find that schedule here

 

  1. Come as You Are

    • Want to take a yoga class but don’t have a mat?  No problem! Our Group Ex classes are designed with you in mind, so all you need to bring is yourself, comfy clothes and a water bottle!  

 

  1. Bring a Friend and Have Fun! 

    • Hesitant trying a new Group Ex class? Have a friend tag along to keep you accountable! Group Ex classes are better together so whether you bring a friend or meet a new one in class, you’ll be more motivated to make it your weekly routine knowing you have friend with you along the way.
