The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is proud to announce our partnership with Parkland Hospital, Children's Health, UT Southwestern, Community Council, DFWHC, Texas Health, Crossroads, DCHHS, Methodist Dallas, Salad and Go, Girls on the Run, Metrocare Services, Health Street, Dallas My Ride, Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care, Respect the Tech, NAMI and One Medical and Grant Halliburton for a back-to-school health fair emphasizing mental wellness.
Join us at the newly built Park South Family YMCA, located at 2500 Romine Ave.Dallas, TX 75215 on August 2 from 10 AM - 2 PM.
This event addresses a gap in weekend activities by offering a valuable resource for the community. Families can enjoy fresh produce accompanied by recipe cards to inspire healthy meals. Salad and Go will provide nutritious food options along with educational opportunities. Additionally, beginner-friendly pickleball lessons will be taught by skilled instructors. Plus, that weekend, you can join the Park South YMCA with no joiner fee!
Finally, we'll feature interactive stations providing practical approaches to mental wellness, ensuring a holistic and enriching experience for all attendees. Stay tuned for more updates as we finalize arrangements for this impactful event!
