Jane will be participating in her 47th Turkey Trot this year. Her journey began through cheerleading with her brother at the Fort Worth Turkey Trot in 1978. She and her family have not missed a Trot since and even kept the tradition going through COVID with by running their own family Trot.

The YMCA’s Safety Around Water (SAW) program provides free swim lessons that teach lifesaving water safety skills to children across North Texas. Led by Marioli Diaz, the program partners with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to reach thousands of kids each year, helping them build confidence and stay safe around water. In 2024, more than 7,500 children participated, each one gaining the skills to prevent drownings and enjoy swimming safely.
