JER Chilton YMCA at Rockwall has been a leader in healthy living for the Rockwall County area for over 30 years. Originally founded in the 1950’s as a private program for what was a small rural community, later incorporated under the YMCA umbrella, today’s JER Chilton YMCA has grown with the county and now leads the way for programming that contributes to a positive, health-conscious lifestyle. Offering youth sports, fitness programs, healthy living initiatives, special needs camps, and more, JER Chilton at Rockwall carries a reputation of excellence in fulfilling the YMCA mission and in creating a place for community.
The YMCA is governed by the Board of Directors who holds title to all real estate and establishes overall policy providing direction to the various Branch Operations. The Board of Directors confers a broad range of authority to the Branch Boards of Management who assume responsibility for advising each YMCA.
