At the Y, the last two words of our mission statement are "for all", and that stands at the core of all we do. We understand that everyone in our communities comes to us with different abilities and we are proud to offer programs that provide fun, learning, fellowship, and a sense of belonging to everyone who encounters the Y.
Special Olympics
The Moody YMCA is host to the Moody Blues adult special olympic delegation. Athletes compete in area 10 in basketball, bowling, soccer and pickleball. For more information please contact Mona Callaghan
Adapted Wellness
The Moody YMCA offers a full schedule of Adapted Wellness programming to our local special needs community. Classes include: dance, yoga, water fitness, strength and conditioning and more. Classes are FREE of charge to anyone in the community.
The Ashford Rise School of Dallas
The Ashford Rise School of Dallas, located in our Moody Family YMCA, provides the highest quality of early education services to children ages six months to six years with and without disabilities in an inclusive environment. Rise delivers comprehensive education, intervention, and therapy to our students during their formative years.
